All I need

When I look for I want

I find it’s already here:
In the opening of my child’s eyes,
in the breath of the moment.

As I search—
for the meaning of the universe,
I see there is none
but the sound of the perfect ocean
crashing on my shores

And when I crave
for the wholeness—the sense that I’m not alone
and that I matter,
I realize the tingle of my skin
from the inside,
and the dance of sensation,
are all I need.
